Wings + Horns: Selvage Denim Series for Fall/Winter 2011
Wings + Horns have re-introduced their denim range for the fall/winter 2011 season, after taking a few years off they are back with a vengeance. Here is what they had to say about their Selvage series in particular:
“Made of 100% cotton Cone Mills white oaks 13.5 oz selvage denim, everything about our denim series is entirely local, staying within the borders of North America. From the fabric woven in North Carolina, to the denim itself sewn and washed in LA, we strive for genuine authenticity and the utmost quality in design and craftsmanship, staying true to our values as a brand.
It’s the little thoughtful details of our denim that adds character to the garment and makes the piece unique. Incorporated into our denim are heritage-influenced details, such as the selvage in the coin pocket, customized branded shank and rivets, and distinct red-colored stitching marking the selvage on the cuff”.
We have received two styles of denim from their Selvage series; the raw and 1-year wash both in the straight cut. If you are after a new pair of jeans this season these two styles should have you covered.

New Arrivals: D.S. Dundee Fall/Winter 2011
For this fall/winter 2011 season we have introduced a few new lines to our range here at Outlooks, one being English label D.S. Dundee. The label is made up of classic English style pieces with a modern twist. For our first venture into the line we brought in a nice mix, with some casual/dressy shirts, two styles of blazer, two waistcoats, a wool cargo pant, some nice knits and a few styles of caps. So far the line has been doing really well for us, so don’t hesitate to come down and check it out for yourself.
In Stock: Engineered Garments Fall/Winter 2011
One of our favourite New York based labels, Engineered Garments has touched down here at Outlooks. The label has gained a lot of momentum in the fashion world, from magazines to blogs and everything else in between. We are always happy to see EG hitting our shelves as it is one of those lines that you really become fond of, from the interesting cuts, no shortage of details and amazing fabrics. We have a nice selection for the season, with a good mix of shirting, outerwear, blazers, pants and accessories. Head on down to the shop to check it all out for yourself.
